If you live in the United States and have a sceptic tank you can put a shutoff valve on the inlet pipe and put a gas hose with flow control valve on the tank side. You might also incorporate a psi gauge to monitor the pressure build up in your sceptic tank.

Even a very small digester can produce enough liquod fertilzer for a small vegetable garden. To control ph in the digester, crush egg shells and throw it in with your mix.
